Publish Your Portfolio to Seentio Marketplace

What You'll Learn

You'll walk through the exact steps to publish your AAPL + TSLA portfolio to Seentio's marketplace at $10.00 per subscriber per month, including payment setup and listing confirmation.

Prerequisites

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Step 1: Verify Your Portfolio Weights

  1. Log in to Seentio and navigate to Portfolios (left sidebar).
  2. Click the portfolio name (e.g., "Apple & Tesla Mix").
  3. You should see:
  4. AAPL with its weight (e.g., 50%)
  5. TSLA with its weight (e.g., 50%)
  6. What to expect: A clean, two-holding portfolio view. If weights don't sum to 100%, adjust them by clicking Edit Weights and dragging sliders or typing percentages.
  7. If something goes wrong: Portfolio shows 0 holdings? Click + Add Holding, search "AAPL", select it, set weight, repeat for TSLA.

Step 2: Set Up Payment Authentication

Before publishing, Seentio requires a bank account or payment method to process subscriber payouts.

  1. Click your profile icon (top right corner).
  2. Select Account Settings.
  3. In the left menu, click Payments & Payouts.
  4. Click + Add Payment Method.
  5. What to expect: A modal appears asking for:
  6. Bank account (preferred for US accounts) — routing number, account number, account holder name
  7. OR debit/credit card — card number, expiry, CVV
  8. Enter your details and click Verify.
  9. What happens next: Seentio sends a micro-deposit (two small credits, \(0.01–\)0.50 each) to your bank account. This takes 2–3 business days.
  10. Return to Payments & Payouts and enter the two deposit amounts in the Confirm Micro-Deposits section.
  11. Click Confirm. Your payment method is now verified (checkmark appears).
  12. If something goes wrong:
    • Micro-deposit amounts don't match: Check your bank statement carefully (some banks delay posting). Wait 24 hours and retry.
    • Card declined: Ensure card is not expired and billing address matches your bank's records. Try a different card.

Step 3: Navigate to Your Portfolio & Click "Publish"

  1. Go back to Portfolios (left sidebar).
  2. Find your AAPL + TSLA portfolio.
  3. Click on it to open the detail view.
  4. In the top-right corner, you'll see a Publish button (blue, prominent).
  5. Click Publish.
  6. What to expect: A modal titled "Publish Portfolio to Marketplace" appears.

Step 4: Fill in Marketplace Listing Details

The modal will prompt you for:

  1. Portfolio Name (pre-filled from your portfolio; e.g., "Apple & Tesla Mix")
  2. Keep it clear and descriptive (2–5 words).
  3. Do NOT use excessive capitals or symbols.

  4. Description (150–300 characters recommended)

  5. Example: "Growth-focused portfolio balancing Apple's stability with Tesla's upside. Rebalanced monthly."
  6. Explain your strategy, not the companies themselves.
  7. Click Preview to see how it appears on the marketplace.

  8. Category (dropdown)

  9. Select one: Growth, Value, Income, Balanced, Tech-Heavy, Dividend, etc.
  10. Choose the category that best matches your strategy.

  11. Monthly Subscription Price

  12. Enter 10.00 (your $10/month fee).
  13. Seentio takes a 30% commission; you keep 70% ($7/subscriber/month).
  14. A tooltip shows the payout split.

  15. Min. Subscribers to Launch (optional)

  16. Default is 1 (launch immediately after approval).
  17. Or set a minimum (e.g., 5 subscribers) before going live.
  18. This is optional; skip if you want to go live with just 1 subscriber.

  19. Rebalance Schedule (dropdown)

  20. Select: Manual, Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly.
  21. This tells subscribers how often you adjust holdings.
  22. Example: If you chose "Monthly," the marketplace displays "Rebalanced Monthly."

  23. Performance Disclaimer (checkbox)

  24. Read and check: "I understand past performance is not indicative of future results."
  25. Required before publishing.

  26. Click Review & Publish.

Step 5: Final Review

A new modal shows a preview of your marketplace listing: - Portfolio name, description, category, price, and your profile. - Verify all details are correct. - Click Confirm Publish.

What to expect: A green success banner: "Portfolio published! Pending approval. You'll receive an email within 24–48 hours."

Your portfolio is now submitted to the review queue.

Step 6: Monitor Your Approval Status

  1. Go to Portfolios and click your published portfolio.
  2. At the top, a Status badge shows:
  3. "Pending Approval" (24–48 hours) — under review.
  4. "Live on Marketplace" (green) — approved and live.
  5. "Rejected" (red) — rare; see email for reason (e.g., misleading description, missing holdings).

  6. Check your email (the one registered to Seentio) for approval notification.

If something goes wrong: - Rejection email received? Read the feedback, click Edit, fix the issue (e.g., reword description, adjust holdings), and resubmit. - No email after 48 hours? Contact Seentio support via the Help menu (bottom left) or email support@seentio.com.
